Hello, my name is Rob (or Bert). I'm from the UK. This account is for talking about Hope and Honey - the record of their catty life stories. I'm He/Him (The cats are both She/Her)

continuing the Hope and Honey story. Hope was pretty cool, but Honey was starting to cramp her style...whatever Hope was doing, Honey wanted to do too. Wherever Hope was, Honey would follow...

But over time we could see that Honey was becoming a bit too nuch of a dorky embarrassing sister to Hope.

72 minutes played and I don't feel I've really trained a horse girl yet

It's a hot day here and Honey and Hope are demonstrating the two types of summer Londoners...happily licking themselves in the sunshine Vs angrily sitting in their shady wagon.

what we hadn't realised because of her timid, photo-shy nature is that she had quite the extravagant floofy tail!

When Honey arrived she was the reverse of Hope - she spent her first few weeks hiding under the bed and socialising with my wife (Hope's spare human)

we went to visit her - she was called Tara at this stage - we were going to call her Blanche Dubois (so she could alway rely on the kindness of strangers), but Honey was what stuck. She hid under the sofa the whole time we visisted but we still wanted her. Nothing wrong with being timid!

Eventually she was ready to find a home!

Honey was being born! She didn't know she was Honey because she hadn't been rescued yet. She was in a feral colony in the garden of a house near to us. Her and her family were gradually rescued by Croydon Cat Sanctuary. She was too wild to be adopted straight away and went to be fostered

Hope was probably too distracted having fun outdoors to notice a disturbance in the force. Whilst she was getting spayed and venturing outside, just down the road in a feral cat colony....

was it worth it? well yes, because a few weeks after, she was OUTSIDE! although still a bit annoyed with everything and with some shaved fur.

A week later, and following a diagreement over the collar of shame, she was neutered and wrapped in tights like a sausage. Here is sausage-hope
