"deep" as keyword is so load bearing lol. i wonder how much of it draws on "deep" as opposed to "shallow" attention/work/interaction, i.e., the specific form the "tech is ruining our brains" discourse took in the recent past, in addition to "deep" as in "deep learning"

but if you think about it aren't the scores of computing research papers that use these companies' models to build more intelligent and human centred whatevers also effectively reproducing their marketing
