Primary care clinical admin lead, Sussex. Passionate about our NHS #TeamGP Crap but keen birder. Reality TV is my meditation. AuDHD. Grew two giant humans. Left of centre 🔸
Pinned
Giant offspring and I both had a lifer today. Pallid Harrier (f) at Stiffkey and then a little later possibly the male but quite dusky skies at that point.
My first Merlin (f) too! At least two ringtail hens. Of course I cried. It’s rare we share 1sts nowadays ❤️

Well, it took the potential outbreak of World War 3 in order to achieve it, but congratulations to Laura Kuenssberg and her team, for managing to broadcast an entire episode without having anyone from Reform on

This handsome guy is a regular evening visitor to our patch of dusky cranesbill. He loves feasting on the seed heads. Not too easy to photograph but managed to catch him on the cherry. What a beauty.

They all popped out of the nest box soon after 6am.
Dispersed and looked strong by 9am. Parents still very attentive. Excuse my baby speak, I seem to think thats how they like to be talked to 😅

Morning!
It’s ALL going on outside! There is a baby blue tit poking his head out of the nest box, YELLING at his parents and while I was out observing, parent and fledgling nuthatch were in the ash tree waiting for me to fill up the sunflower hearts 💕

I am not a GP.

I would even consider myself a poor substitute for a GP.

General Practice and Emergency Medicine are both specialisms that deal with the gamut of human disease, but at wildly different acuities.

Nothing can replace a properly funded and staffed Primary Care service.

Nothing.
