ER dlc vibes where the game is just to show off to your friends how awesome your reaction times are and how hard you can memorize a boss fight and if you can’t, youre bad and need to get good. unfortunately it still feels really good to win, so there’s a place for this stuff. 7/10

pyre

game that ascended supergiant for me into the greats. i’ve never played anything like it before. i hope hades 2 isn’t a turning point for the company. i’m hoping they make games that they want to make, not have to make. i hope they have a choice. 10/10

viva piñata

while the 360 brain is on. unironically rare’s best and least derivative game. actually paced so well, if you’re not playing TiP. held back by hardware limitations, as garden space can be a pain. 9/10

lost odyssey

i reflect on this game a lot. understated when it comes up are the 30 stories written by Kiyoshi Shigematsu. I played through this game again and narrated through each with my partner as they came up — the experience lifts this game above most other jrpg. Great cast. gajillion / 10

oblivion remaster

the original had a flawed leveling system that actually was made worse, by being made faster. You skip all enemy variety by making it to the highest tiers far too fast. game is pretty. custom gear enchants for rp is the best part, as usual — the system should be expanded on. 7/10
