Found this in one of my Dad's old books, it really resonated with me so I thought I'd share it

You know I get why some disabled ppl don't like their aids but I love my walking stick. I've had it for years now, it gives me confidence, it clearly signposts what otherwise would be an invisible disability and it's really fucking cool.
