An interesting detail is that Jayce uses blacksmithing tongs when using the hexcore on Viktor & when he's making hextech weapons later in the episode. By merging the hexcore into Viktor, Jayce has forged the ultimate hextech weapon. Viktor has become the weapon he protested against.

I love the focus on Jayce's husk when Viktor says "fields of dreamless solitude." His phrasing would arguably be better illustrated by shots of the desolate landscape or thousands of husks. But, focusing on Jayce shows that losing Jayce specifically is the true source of Viktor's solitude.

Another detail: When Singed brings up Viktor's work to "save us from ourselves," Viktor instantly sees Singed's hypocrisy. Singed is motivated by love. As is Viktor. This foreshadows that it is love, not inhumam evolution, that will save Viktor from himself.
Singed lightly touches the tank where he is preserving his daughter's dead body.

What really implies that Jayce is an unspoken part in this scene is this part of Singed & Viktor's conversation, spoken as Viktor continues touching the cog. The invisible hand is Mage Viktor from the AU & Viktor's fate is to meet & love Jayce. The one thing that can save Viktor's humanity. (4/6)

"His quest led him astray of any trodden path." = His quest for perfection leads him to "cross the line" that no one has before. He gives up his humanity and becomes the Machine Herald. "His own shadow dissolved to darkness." = Sky is Viktor's shadow in a way and the vision of her literally dissolves into darkness. She is ostensibly the last of his humanity. He is in complete darkness now. "Now the only course was forward." = Forward is progress, progress is the Glorious Evolution. Once he becomes the Machine Herald, Viktor beleives this is his only course. "The only warmth, a dream of her waltz." = "Warmth" points to Jayce's blanket, something Jayce gave Viktor hoping to warm him from the cold. "A dream" connects to Viktor & Jayce's shared dream. Finally, "waltz" connects to partnership since it is a dance performed by a couple of partners. I also believe it forshadows Viktor & Jayce's confrontation in the council room for two reasons: 1) Viktor's robotic form vaguely resembles Orianna's game design. His movements are graceful like a dancer's. 2) Because of this Jayce & Viktor's fight somewhat resembles a dance. Viktor, in his white and gold mechanical form, elegantly dodges a swing from Jayce's butterfly shaped hammer. Viktor, in his human form in the astral plane, looks down at a struggling Jayce as he says, "Let us instead do this once again as partners." I like the detail that one of the first things shown in Viktor's commune is a forge.

Obviously, the commune needs a forge, and this isn't just a reference to Jayce... but it also is a reference to Jayce.
