I think it tells you how tall to draw the normal graph at that point, but might be wrong. Either way seems absolutely useless.

Updated here with suggestions incorporated (and one typo corrected which my year 10s were only too happy to tell me about!!!).

There are some really nice applets on bossmaths. Physically I've tried running string from one corner of the classroom to the other in the past so they're inside the cube, seemed to help a little.

Some of them are flawless. If Conan had only ever written marge Vs monorail, I'd still think he was one of the six funniest men of all time.

same with John swartzwelder from that era - if you've not read them, his books are genuinely laugh out loud funny.

It's mad they don't notice things like this isn't it?! There's a don steward multiplication one where all the answers come as 123456, 234567... and I asked mine when finished to "make one that does that" and they had absolutely no idea what I meant.
