I can tell you most churches don’t have wealth. They are running deficit budgets to support a few staff, often part-time, and the various programs and ministries they have. The money that is given directly benefits various people including the most vulnerable.

Joel Osteen’s church is not like that.

How about we just take away this church’s 501c3. Most churches and pastors are just getting by and do a lot of good work. Joel Osteen is a grifter and a wolf trying to pose in sheep’s clothing.

Also, pastors still pay taxes like the rest of you.

Well, and the other issue is Family Dollar is what a lot of rural communities have so when/if it dies, where will these communities shop?
