Lots of leftists mistake anarchist hatred of tankieism as a kind of centrism. I oppose liberalism and tankieism much more fundamentally than they oppose each other since I reject their common authoritarian foundations.

I finished the book the other day - utterly fantastic! Can't tell you how many times people have looked at me with curious astonishment when I have told them I think there is one reality, we can have objectively correct knowledge about it and such is an essential part of agency.

The fact that they take it as obviously good that they want to narrow their moral circles as much as possible is just such an end of the line for any attempt at diplomacy and communication. Our most fundamental moral axioms are just inversions of each other. There is nothing I could say to them.

If you think that's bad, be glad you don't have to see the masses of normies in Sweden celebrating the new law that just came into effect here outlawing "insulting a government employee". Yes, it is now illegal to insult a cop in Sweden and people are being arrested for it.
