The ignorance and gullibility of my MAGA relatives is astounding. They see what they want to see. Sadly I believe it all comes down to racism. And oh my goodness how offended they become when I call them out on it.

I think you are misreading the sentence and the headline is misleading. Trump is giving Americans a tacky ballroom while kids are going hungry. No one thinks about ballrooms no one cares about ballrooms no one needs a ballroom. They care about affordable rent, healthcare & putting food on the table

I hear you! Apparently I’m a “Marxist”, even though the person calling me that could not define the word. My MAGA mom (doesn’t live in NY) hates AOC. I asked her to name her own congressman and she couldn’t! Has no idea who represents her, but she knows to hate AOC because that’s what FOX tells her

Is there no way to convince Republicans in congress and the Senate to free themselves from the Republican Party? They don’t have to become Democrats, they can become Independents. They would be free from tRump’s thumbscrews.

The gullibility and ignorance of my MAGA relatives is astounding. I don’t think that people who are not in regular contact with MAGA folk can even begin to comprehend the depth of their loyalty to tRump. The right wing media propaganda machine has immunized them from facts and truth telling.

Maine Gov. Janet Mills (D) is a popular governor who is also running against Collins. There are several other candidates running as well. Maybe one of them will gain some traction. Clearly there is an appetite for change.🤞

Old school Catholics not Evangelicals. Not homeschooled, everything from high school grads, trade school & college among them. The ignorance and gullibility of MAGA is hard to comprehend. Maybe it just boils down to racism. I think that is at the heart of it sadly.

I have MAGA family members who like and share the most absurd FB posts that have zero basis in reality. They cannot do simple fact checking. The right wing propaganda machine is very good at overwhelming and burying the truth.
