If you don't mind me asking, what settings did you use for this? I'm hoping to get back up there soon 😊

It's decent in the UK, but better in Ireland, on both sides of the border. In the UK, we seem to get a very mild burnt / coffee sort of aftertaste.

You might be better off try Inkscape. It's another piece of open source software, and is completely free 🙂

They do it because they're not allowed to advertise due to being funded by the licence fee. Apparently advertising their own services doesn't count 🤔

No, that does seem to be normal for the BBC now, but it might depend on your location. On BBC iplayer in the UK, we get these 'definitely not ads' before most videos. They usually last up to a minute.

I feel your pain. I had to do the same thing with a dieing drive a few years ago 😫

Funnily enough, I'm thinking of switching my family to Linux for that reason. I'm already the Windows support, so removing unwanted updates and the risk of viruses would make my life easier. They mainly use their computers as browsers though, so nothing complicated 🙂

Watch out for the shank size, that's what caught me out. I can't remember the imperial sizes, but there's a 6mm, a 6.35mm, and an 8mm 🙈
