Btw New York public library is a beautiful place: there are free puzzles for anyone to do, and random ppl of all sorts go there and complete a piece of the puzzle.

I’m in the process of publishing a book with what should be a reputable publisher and guess what? They ask for authorization to sell our data to some AI company for training.
This is absolutely a disgrace. Has this become commonplace?
