Make this crochet poop bag holder before your next dog walk! This is a free, quick, and easy crochet pattern.
Free Crochet Pattern: Poop Bag Holder (15 minute project)
Clack clack clack. That's what I heard when walking my dog using a retractable leash and a hard plastic poop bag holder. Hard plastic hitting hard plastic was interrupting the nature sounds. I looked up poop bag holder crochet patterns and found ones with buttons, ties, zippers. I didn't want anything fancy. Slide the roll of bags in there and that's it.

A few weeks ago, I jumped into something I’d been curious about: my very first craft market. Find out how it went in my latest blog post!
My First Craft Market
A few weeks ago, I jumped into something I’d been curious about: my very first craft market. I was one of more than 150 vendors at the Art Fair @ The Ledges in Grand Ledge, Michigan. The event took place in a beautiful county park, and we seriously lucked out with the weather. After weeks of sticky heat and high humidity, the fair landed on a perfectly sunny day in the 70s.

Free Pattern: Mini Yarn Skein Plushie

Earlier this year, I was shopping at Joann Fabrics (RIP) and found this adorable yarn skein plushie keychain. Being a crafty girl, I looked at it and thought “I could make this myself”.
Free Pattern: Mini Yarn Skein Plushie
Earlier this year, I was shopping at Joann Fabrics (RIP) and found this adorable yarn skein plushie keychain. Being a crafty girl, I looked at it and thought “I could make this myself”. Pattern NotesGauge does not matter for this pattern. This can be made with any yarn. The thicker the yarn, the bigger the plush! Use a hook that is at least 1mm smaller than the recommended hook on your yarn, so that the filling does not show.

Welcome!
Welcome to the Tiny Yarn Lab blog! I am so excited to share works in progress, finished pieces, and free patterns here. My name is Aislinn (pronounced Ash-lin). I taught myself to crochet in late September 2024, so at the time that I'm writing this, I've been crocheting for less than a year. Now, that may not sound like a lot of experience, but once I picked up that first crochet hook, I could not stop.
