Settled on a pattern and im MAKING IT WORK. Goal: only weave in yarn ends when running out of a yarn ball

Been thinking/working with this jumbo plush yarn and thinking about color work - this is HDC, the left orange block worked in the stitch with the black in the space. Like how it turned out, but attempts to translate it to 1 stitch wide arent promising haha

Some vitamine C for the day

Was starting to get worried these wouldnt lay flat, but after blocking them looks like I wont have to worry! ....That does mean I need to figure out a better way to block 100+ squares though, bc 4 at a time is no bueno. I have a couple Ideas to make it faster/less ass.

Yesterday I worked on this paper piecing, got 2 blocks done. 4 more and then some finagling with the background/border and then i can move on to quilting it. going to be a medium sized wall hanging
