My grandmother was a prolific painter in her life. One of the bedrooms in her house was wall-to-wall big oil paintings in ornate frames ala the Paris Salon. This is one of my all-time favorite paintings of hers, recreated in soft pastel ❤️

Here's my grave domain cleric and their little pseudodragon familiar, having a nice quiet moment.

I liked the scribbly pencil sketch lines so much I just used them instead of trying to make clean ones.

I have a flower bed that I set up in June that's only just now exploding with life. The marigold plants came from a flat, but I grew the Johnny jump-ups and nasturtiums from seed. These plants bring me a lot of daily joy, so now they live in my sketchbook, too 💚
