Nah just typical potting mix from Lowe’s.
NPK: 21-11-16
Stratify dates:
Put in cold treatment on the left/ Taken out of cold treatment on the right.

The milkweed is germinating well. Kind of crazy. It was supposed to take months to germinate and it did it in 11 days.
Front to back:
Asclepias purpurascens
Butterfly weed (Asc. Tuberosa)
Asc. Viridiflora
Asc. Verticillata
Swamp Milkweed (Asc. Incarnata)

Seems to just result in typical image compression easily distinguished from AI.
January 15, 2026 at 1:42 AM
I would certainly agree to use this technique judiciously, and never as a nail in the coffin.

However, Jpeg artifacts on solid color limits itself to color change zones then radiates as it's compressed further. AI seems to do it all over the place in the solid color.

Left ART. Right AI.
January 15, 2026 at 1:37 AM
Again, solid colors remain solid, except with artifacting at the very edges between colors.

I don't think there's any merit to the notion that JPEG compression would operate functionally differently.
January 15, 2026 at 1:24 AM
Trying it again with my scribblings of a little man.

Results still differ from AI. There is artifacting but only at the edges of the colors. Follow up post with same parameters to add further compression.
January 15, 2026 at 1:21 AM
Jpeg artifacting in solid colors even after reasonabble compression, doesn't seem to produce the same results.
January 15, 2026 at 1:11 AM
So I tried that by saving this image as a jpeg, uploading it, downloading it, then doing the process again. Doesn't seem to produce the same result as AI.

I'll post a followup after downloading this screencap version of it off of bluesky and retesting to push the compression to reasonable limits.

Yeah I wanted to be sure to mention that it's not surefire. The video contextualized things more! Glaze and Nightshade also seem to be affected but it happens in slightly different ways.

First two are Glaze and seems patterned. Last are AI and appears more blocky and random.

40% of the reason I call talent bullshit is because those like the guy at the start of the video will use it as an excuse to never try learning a skill. "I can't do art! I don't have the God-granted factor that let's me do it."

I didn't get it either! Work for it or accept it isn't for you!

Mkay so it's probably a water or light issue. If the plant gets direct sunlight in the window, I'd recommend moving it, and for watering, keep to a weekly schedule. To see when water is needed, dip your pinky in the soil an inch and if it's dry, it's time to water. May be time for a bigger pot too.
