I was gifted a pair of earrings featuring The Pokey Puppy of Golden Books fame so naturally I wore them for the first time while being an elementary school substitute librarian. Nobody listened any better, but they made me happy.

I do not know the cure to depression but I do know that getting 13 KOs in a row on Squirrel Girl in Marvel Rivals has produced a euphoria I have yet to know in these 40 years.
