Yeah, I was told that for at least my body, straight water actually doesn't hydrate me because I'm so low on electrolytes. If you can eat bananas, that might help because of the potassium, too!

Do you drink straight water or do you drink electrolyte drinks? My cardiologist told me to drink a liquid IV a day and now I swear by that, it makes a huge difference. Sometimes I still need to supplement with a salt pill or salty snack, but it's not an everyday occurrence anymore!
