Feels like the summer version of this picture I took last winter:

First one is some sort of polypore mushroom with white edges, and the second is a partrideberry plant. Partridgeberries can be distinguished from wintergreen, a relative, by its oval rather than round shape, allover smoothness, and two tiny bumps on the skin.
A white-edged brown polypore mushroom colony, growing from among leaf litter on the forest floor. They are mildly shield-shaped, pointing toward the camera. A wild partridgeberry peeking from among fallen leaves and pine needles. It is a tiny red berry, clinging to a plant that is barely two leaves.

A picture taken on a visibly cold afternoon. The early winter sun palely illuminates a gorgeous colony of brown turkey tail mushrooms on an upright dead tree. The mushrooms are clamshell-shaped and attatch to the tree like shelves, horizontally stripey in different shades of brown, much like the coloration of a wild turkey's tail, hence their name.

Found one on dad's car last summer! Poor lil critter was quite confused, so i picked him up w gloves (i didn't know who he was and didnt want to risk an altercation w those spines) and gave him a good yeet into the nearby bushes XD
A fat fuzzy tussock moth caterpillar crawling on a navy blue car's front hood. It looks positively fluffy like a kitten. Its fur is cream-coloured, with a dark brown line down its middle, along the length of the animal; this line has almost chevronned edges on one side, zigzagging between light and dark. There are long white spines reaching well beyond the fluffy fur, signalling potential poisonous or at least irritant properties. The same caterpillar friend as the first picture, this time mid-wiggle
