I'm coding open (modify/resell) action 2D or 3D editable MMO engines (1000s players per server) from scratch for linux/reduced + windows/complex. https://multiplayeronlinestandard.com https://tinspin.itch.io
I'm in, better late than never. Thx for removing most rubber and adding metal+screws!

The "View more replies ..." button does not work for me, might be on my end though?

Are you making a build with it? Please post photos if you do!

We had this discussion on your stream, on X86 int and float variables are atomic by default. On ARM I still have to try it but I'm pretty sure they work the same way now on aarch64! You need to use variables that allow threading without locking, so how would you do that without synchronizing memory?

Arrays of 64-byte atomic Structs not enough? I only use tbb concurrent_unordered_map.h (thread safe but leaks memory) because it's included in linux/windows. But avoiding cache misses and invalidations is the only USP C(++) has, so for everything else I launch a JVM (with concurr. collect.) on top.

Does bluesky convert to mp4 now? I miss the non-blurry real thing!

I always thought w was the rotation around x, y, z vector. If it's not, can we make a quaternion that works that way?
