On a job in the greater LA area, and I was struck by the juxtaposition here.

Trash and nature - each stunning, but in two very different ways.
A blue sky, just before sunset, with golden light pouring from behind clouds, and mountains silhouetted in the distance. A bit closer, but still in the distance, LA's Garden of the Gods is visible; lumpy, rounded vegetation-dotted rock formations on the left and right, with a line of vehicles on a highway between them. In the foreground is a dirt lot with a lot of trash. Thousands of pieces of broken safety glass litter the ground, and discarded cups, bags, and various other items are stuck in the brush. "TARK" appears to be spray painted in yellow on a black asphalt curb in the foreground.
