Pride Quilt Top 2025 is done! I wasn't sure I was happy with how the orange parts blended with the yellow, but I've decided to leave it as is. Now to decide on a backing and quilt it. #quiltsky

...start using my iPad and apple pencil pro to do it. What app do I want to use for that? I'm not looking to design quilts, I'm mostly just trying to figure out things like hst placements or things I can do with scraps (see photos), so I'm not looking for something really techy. Any suggestions?

My little quilted table topper is done! It ended up a little bit bigger than I anticipated but that's fine, I'm happy with it. Now to figure out what else I can put something quilted on, maybe the piano? 🤔 #quiltsky

I decided to go with the yellow stripe for the binding, and I like it! It feels fresh and doesn't detract from the actual topper. Now, to hand stitch the binding on. #quiltsky

I'm making a topper for this little table, and I just need to select a binding fabric. I'm trying to use up all my striped fabrics for bindings (I was gifted a lot of stripes) rather than buy something. I've narrowed it down to these two - does one look better than the other? #quiltsky

Quilted table runner is done and I love how it looks! Is like to make something coordinating to replace the quilts on my couch now but maybe in low volume neutral tones and not exactly the same pattern but using HSTs. The flowers were my mothers Day gift from kid 2. #quiltsky

We had a visitor in the front yard this morning. I didn't mind him snacking on the crabapple tree but I wasn't impressed when he went for the mayday. The dogs weren't fans of our guest at all, especially when he walked up to the window. #canadianthings #mooseontheloose

#quiltsky - I want to make a duvet cover for my bedroom and I need to get brown, beige, and grey to play nicely together. This is as far as I've gotten but it's not right yet - what does it need? A more mid tone grey? More white or cream? I'm trying to keep my whites to a minimum because dogs.

That time I stepped on a wasp (or maybe a bee? I'm not sure) inside the house but didn't realize that's what it was until the next afternoon. 😬 It got me on the underside of my middle toe, in the crease, it's been more than 24 hours and it's so freaking red and itchy a d sore still!

..I did for practice, this is big stitch quilting and I used a larger needle and thicker 8 weight cotton thread for it.

Ok, I think this is going to be the final layout. I'll get that sewn together and then decide if it needs a border. #quiltsky
