The op may have worded their statement poorly, but most maga didn't vote for this purely out of bigotry, religion, or hatred. Most did so out of spite.

Currently US protests aren't even remotely near the levels of Hong Kong 2019-2020, Belarus 2020-2021, or Georgia 2024-present, none of which resulted in regime change.

Between ~40% of the US approving of this madness, and the "political pendulum" shifting consistently farther right with each cycle for several decades, to say nothing of the stupidification of the populace, I genuinely just don't see how any long term improvements are realistic.

The issue is religious indoctrination.
Being surrounded from birth by people whose value system is centered around "faith" fundamentally alters how one processes information.
There's also heaps of institutionalized racism.

They may yet learn though, fascism has historically spread like wildfire during times of unrest, and economic hardship.
