What I hope you take from this is that you actually need to help people get to where you're at. That is work which *you* have to do. You cannot simply say "it's not my job to educate you"
I understand it's exhausting and many people truly should not have to take that on. But those who can should.

then people started using comms better, flexed more, and felt less emotionally challenged
It helped me to find a few people that I could grind out of the low ranks with,
