It was literally a German court. Have you even looked into this at all??

October 2020, Sharypova described abuse from Zverev.
Patea also came out with allegations of abuse.
November 2023, fined by a German court $488,000.
June 2024, settled objection against order.
OJ got away with a far simpler case. It's almost impossible to prove DV but two exes, his actions, come on.

I don't think they really care, nor do his fellow players. ATP didn't stick to their own rules regarding players and investigations and instead prop him up as a poster child and commentators seem to love him. Just a representative of "It's only a crime if you can't afford it"

It's the way tennis has gone since they tried slowing courts down. Defensive players make for more wins but less entertaining tennis. Wish we had more grass tournaments and fast hard courts. Bring back blue clay!

Accused by two exes including mum of his child, charged, he appealed then chose to settle.
Holds players at the net when they beat him.
Hostile to umpires (and in general).
Tried to smash an umpires legs.
Generally just an unlikeable personality too. Tries to hard to be funny, not unlike Djokovic

Of all the problems with Zverev, I'd say his birthplace is the least of them

I'd recommend you read a bit more

A settlement is literally not innocence. It's proof of nothing being proven and that's it.
There is no factual evidence yet laid out to prove Zverev's innocence and why would I believe Zverev over two of his ex-partners especially when I've seen how he acts in public?
January 25, 2025 at 10:22 AM
Otherwise, you just need to look at the fact that Zverev was charged by a German court who deemed there was enough evidence. This would not have got any money to his ex (the mother of his child accused him). He appealed but as the case went on he decided to settle. Doesn't sound very innocent to me.

Innocent until proven guilty applies to a court of law. We, in the court of public opinion, can only go off what information has been given. Zverev held Fritz at the net on two occassions, Zverev has abused umpires verbally and one physically (attempted). His demeanour and personality is enough tbh

Soooo, give up?

Dislike is for things that leave a bad taste in your mouth but are tolerable. Hate is for people like Kyrgios, Djokovic, Trump, Musk, Rogan, Dutton, Seyboth Wild, Tate, Basilashvili, people who don't get wiggle room.

Fair, tennis to watch and Zverev to hate!
January 25, 2025 at 4:31 AM
Zverev was the one who challenged the courts ruling, a ruling that in German law was made because the evidence was deemed sufficient to rule him an abuser. Why would the person challenging then choose to settle if he knew he was innocent?
January 25, 2025 at 3:36 AM
Settlement doesn't mean justice was served even in the eyes of the court. It just means a settlement was reached. And of course it was when the two parties involved had such a large gap of power. The ATP investigation was rubbish, they didn't even contact the ATP official who was first informed.
January 25, 2025 at 3:33 AM
It'll be relevant as long as Zverev avoids justice and the ATP promotes him as their poster child
