Artist, Cosplayer, nerd and fangirl.
Made in Germany 🇩🇪 1997/12/12
The fur collar, as well as the skirt has been *hand sewn* together because A) the skirt has too many layers for my sewing machine and B) fur can be terrible to work with with sewing machines.

»» Keep in mind, this entire thing is HAND MADE. The accessories and especially the staff are made by hand, by me! Not 3D printed. The only 3D printed object on this cosplay is the inside of the tail.

»» This is the money and time I think my cosplays are worth. You might disagree, and there is no right or wrong here, just different opinions, but this is my cost breakdown of this particular cosplay!

»» With an hourly rate of 40€/h and 330€ in material cost, this cosplay would cost about 8.330€ to produce the way I did it -- which realistically, nobody would pay. That's ok though, because I don't expect anyone to pay this kind of money.

»» I worked for 12h+ on some days, even into the night, working even when sick, etc. So a more realistic hourly wage for someone who would potentially not have a job to cover living expenses, health care, etc, let's up it to 40€/h, shall we?

»» With roughly 330€ in material costs, it's already quite expensive. If we were to convert the 200h of labour into money (with minimum wage) we'd get about 2564€ (!!!) of labour cost. HOWEVER, minimum wage does not quite cut it, considering 'overtime' or 'night shifts'
