Tina Turner and Lionel Richie have a unique bond. She opened for his Can’t Slow Down Tour in 1984, which was to promote Private Dancer. Their tour ran from May to July. She joined him on stage to perform “Hot Legs” and “Three Times A Lady”. In 2000, Lionel opened for her Twenty Four Seven Tour.

“Total Control” is a track from The Motels’ debut album, also produced by John Carter. In the early 1980s, Tina recorded it, but it didn’t make it onto Private Dancer. She donated it to the ‘We Are The World’ album. It will be released digitally for the first time on March 21.
