My poor son has been sick nearly every week for the past seven months. He just cannot seem to stay well for more than a few days before BAM, he's caught something else. Today, its what seems to be a stomach virus.

WHAT IS HAPPENING! We NEVER used to be sick this much. What on earth did COVID DO!!

I am suddenly living this whole INVISIBLE WOMAN thing. And it is FREAKY WEIRD, folks. Not sure how to feel about it. Its...unsettling. Yet kind of liberating. Yet kind of irritating.

This is an absolutely real thing. To all those women of age out there, I feel you. I SEE YOU! Do you see me?

We used to have loud, FULL Thanksgivings. But, time does change things. People die. Others simply leave and never look back. There are only four of us now...but that did not stop us from cooking for half a day just so the four of us can eat a nice dinner tomorrow.

Green bean casserole, here I come.

Woke up at 4AM to a water leak in the basement. So, that's how this entire year has been going for me so far. Just one thing after another after another.

Honestly, I miss having someone to help shoulder all the life that happens every day.

Random thought: Why is living a communal lifestyle, or BUNCHING UP, as my family calls it, so taboo? The world sucks. Life is a horror show. Paying the bills is nearly impossible. UNLESS there are A BUNCH of people pitching in.

This works. Why is this not more of a thing?

So, I'm seeing how this works. A gal posts. That post vanishes into the nothingness. Which means.........a gal can just spew forth all the random thoughts in her head that mean nothing and there will be no judgment because she is basically screaming into the void.

Honestly waiting for Oz and RFK to straight up tell folks that they're gutting Medicaid/Medicare/ACA because if you have no insurance, you'll figure out how to get healthier. Or else.

And Trumps fans will agree...as they lay dying in the street.

Funny times, though.

His ego and his greedy dreams of fascism aside, it almost feels like Trump wanted to be President again just to spare himself all the trouble of those pesky, and largely symbolic, sentencing hearings.

No? Is it just me?

So, is this a place where we just...store our random thoughts? Or is this a place where we vent our woes over the current state of our country?

Or can I do both without the Trump fans coming at me in droves????
