3 art collages being submitted to the Scarborough Art Museum's East Coast Open - thanks for the help! They are not specifically titled though, as I just worked by sequence number. Boring, I know! But I've never been good with titles. Any nice suggestions?

This week I'm pondering what to submit to the East Coast Open at the local art museum. Decided on collages because I think smaller work is more accessible at the moment. And I'm wanting to focus on more line & geology oriented work at the moment. I'll post one each day, let me know what you think!

100 silly snakes continues... this noodle could be a hypnotic hognose? (need to reddraw his nose a bit) I like the idea of this one being an in-game creature too (all my snakes are D&D inspired and will be here kck.st/4jAKnMC )

Under a week left on the tiny horizon paintings project, and here are some PINK skies! Sorry they're not in focus, had lost the light for the day after painting and my phone didn't like taking a pic. But a backer did say pink was their favourite so I had to add some more to the collection :)

Some amazing snake crochet this evening - I can crochet in squares, so this is well out of my league! Looks like it might be green glass inside?

It's not always obviously that my paintings are sciart but that geology is ingrained in my work (pun intended!) My sketchbook pages tells the stories best, here's one with serpentine drawings and notes on how I wanted to express the visual patterning for later paintings

'Made me smile' art for today - look at that adorable rover!
Made some more #space inspired papercuts this past weekend, which at some point might land in my shop (which is currently taking a break)

some blue mood from this weekend, with not-so-subtle purple undertones. The weather determined the horizons in my head! (It was raining so I didn't venture out to look at the sea)

Yes! Work with what you have. When you need supplies, keep to your shopping list.

Ditto for a studio. I did my largest works ever in 1. smallest studio I ever had (private commission), and 2. laid out across my living room through an arch into the dining room (duo now in a Tokyo hospital)
My tools are cheap ol bic pens, a pencil and standard sketchbook

Pricy supplies are tons of fun! But you don’t need them to do art 💜
