As an EU citizen, I’m genuinely glad about this. We’ve already seen fines (like that big one on X last year), investigations into TikTok’s addictive feeds, and real steps forward. My kids deserve a safer internet, our democracy deserves protection, and we all deserve fair rules.

That’s exactly why we have the Digital Services Act (DSA) in the EU! 🇪🇺
It holds big platforms accountable: protect children better, stop manipulative addictive features, fight illegal/harmful stuff, be transparent about ads and algorithms, and don’t let disinformation poison our elections.

Things like super-addictive designs (hello endless scrolling!), harmful content everywhere, real dangers to our kids, scams ripping off consumers, and even attempts to mess with our democracies and elections.

Good point. Lower tariffs help, but they’re still high, and India must buy more U.S. energy. It’s strategic alignment, not full normal trade. Markets rallied because the worst fears didn’t happen.
