Put everything I've learned the past year into one piece of my artsona while trying out a new method of colouring/shading! Drew heavy inspiration for the armour from my FF XIV Dragoon Au Ra, and from other games and some anime too. Overall really happy with how the armour & spear design came out!

I did some face studies earlier and ended up with an improved style I really like (left is a piece I was staring to line yesterday, right is a quick sketch from today)

Forgot to post this after I made it... Joined an art challenge with the theme: Mermaid. When I got the prompt Warrior, I knew I had to do my Monster Hunter hunter (outfit is inspired by in-game armours). So this is him; proud Gunlancer and part time goofball insurance salesman/conman as a mermaid.
