It's a little more nerve wracking these days looking out the plane window at night and seeing all the other aircraft blinking in your airspace.

Newsletter is back with the latest from yours truly, including a drive of a prototype Honda, a few pieces published in lovely new outlet, impressions from behind the wheel of Porsche's new 911 Turbo S, and what it's like to wheel the 1,250 hp Czinger 21C!

A vehicle engineer from a certain major manufacturer here in Japan just came up and said he enjoys my monthly column in Car Graphic. Might have made my day a little bit.

Toyota’s got a new RAV4 for and in it, a big new software update. But, unlike GM, Toyota made the pro-consumer choice by not only continuing support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, but making the integration of those projection services even better.

Greetings from Malaga. It's @porscheusa.bsky.social 911 Turbo S day in Spain and per usual I can't tell you what I think about it, but a 701 hp hybrid with a pair of electrified turbochargers should give you an idea of the performance. More impressions to come! #porsche

Exclusive: Anthropic spent $2.66 billion on Amazon Web Services in the first three quarters of 2025, around 100% of their estimated revenue. Its costs appear to increase with their revenue, showing little path to profitability.

If more EVs launched with messaging like this, instead of endless pandering about saving the environment or obliterating your internal organs with ever-faster acceleration times, I feel like the American EV market would be in a much better place today.

Finally, I can talk about what I've been up to in Italy this week. I got an early preview of the Ferrari Elettrica, the company's first electric car. Will 1,000 hp, a wild sound, and a design from Jony Ive and Co. win over over the EV haters? www.engadget.com/transportati...

Trying to teach Koopa fetch using the two-ball technique. Let's just say things didn't go according to plan.

If y'all have any bomb-proof fetch training techniques we're all ears. This dude would just rather chew on the ball than bring it back, even when treats are involved.

There’s an episode of Friends where Rachel supposedly (off-screen) compares Jane Eyre to Robocop and I briefly thought of that as @timstevens.bsky.social here makes a much, more more apt comparison between Robocop and the Mustang GTD.

I would like to ask a few questions of the engineer at DTW who decided that closing and 2/3 of the airport restrooms simultaneously for renovation was a good idea. I'm sure there's some cost savings in working in parallel, but the other result is a line out the door of every functional facility.
