Congratulations to our Dr John Yu Fellows for 2025 — it was wonderful to welcome 29 leaders from business, the professions, government and higher education to our fellowship. This was our 7th year for the fellowship, which is dedicated to advancing cultural diversity and leadership in Australia

It's Pride Month. On the weekend, we were delighted to have a Pride breakfast celebrating lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and queer members of the University of Oxford. And then proceeded to join the Oxford Pride parade. The weather was wet -- but that didn't dampen spirits

We had an excellent termly Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Roundtable at Oxford this week - on neurodiversity. Fantastic to have heard from a range of scholarly and personal perspectives on neurodiversity. The conversation informs our work to ensure Oxford is a place where everyone belongs

We’ve come to the end of term at Oxford — thanks to everyone who has contributed to our equality, diversity and inclusion work. Highlights: we launched our EDI Strategic Plan for the collegiate University, delivered inductions to freshers at 17 colleges and launched the VC’s Sheldonian Series
