1 year ago today - the October 10th aurora. Been a while since I shot the aurora. Timing has just not been working out lately. I'll need to find some more creative foreground for the next show.

About a year ago, I planned one of the best non-storm photos I have ever taken. Now, we have another potentially visible comet! Making plans for another southwest trip in the next week or two, and hopefully, another comet shot!

Yesterday's chase was very grungy, but I was able to sneak in a few clear shots. Little structure north of Culbertson Nebraska.

We lost a titan. Robert Redford was an amazing actor and person. He stared in my favorite western of all time; Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. In addition to being an actor, Redford was a champion for the environment and human rights.

Akron Colorado - 2025.05.23. I was not in a great position after the storm transitioned southeast of I-76. This was my only decent shot of the fully condensed tornado before it dissipated north of Akron.
