Goldman Sachs estimates that increasing tariff rates by 5 percentage points causes a 1-2% drop in S&P 500 earnings per share.

If the Mexico, Canada & China tariffs are indeed fully enacted, they predict a 2-3% decrease in S&P 500 EPS.

Today, I, along with 220,000 other probationary federal employees, were fired without cause. This was indiscriminate, regardless of performance or cost. It’s easy to feel sorry, but I ask you to feel angry. Our government is being dismantled. There is no time left to wait for courts or midterms.
