Meaning they export more than they import from Canada. Removing energy is fair as they benefit from having a safe secure supplier. Energy is 33.5% of our exports. A trade surplus for the US of 43 billion. I hope he gives his head a shake.

Interesting. I did some research, as far as one can do online. If you remove energy from the trade balance between the US and Canada you will find that the US has a surplus.
