I went with a fractal node 804 a few months ago and it's been great.

I wish eBay made it easier to block people, instead of their un-updated 2005 list-based interface

That sounds like quite the cooling setup

This is insane, awesome, worthy of a documentary, and I love it.

Is it a pandemic era washer? I've got a pandemic era KitchenAid (which is whirlpool) fridge/freezer that's a lemon and is getting replaced after more than 10 technician visits. A salesperson suggested that manufacturing quality suffered during COVID...

For me, the main selling point is that's typically gentler on plastic parts than IPA/etc, and doesn't usually leave a visible wipe residue like IPA. Could try immersion soaking or paper-towel soaking, but I haven't done either. It can also take out some marker/ink where IPA fails.

I love lighter fluid for label and gunk removal. It's gentler than IPA and goo gone in my experience, and absolutely gentler than styrene-melting acetone. Ronsonol is the affordable OG, you can get 24oz on Amz for $15, don't pay Zippo prices.

But is it turned on or off?

Seems like a good idea if terms are ok and they'll handle returns (plus returns+chargeback scams) and order support. I'd try to move quickly as someone on AE/etc will clone/create a similar kit.

I'm looking at tailscale and netbird, netbird is (supposedly) simpler and the coord server can be self-hosted. Have you (or Lon, if he reads this) looked at remote desktop options for use within the overlay VPN, like rustdesk?

A production by Super Jeff labels? I mean, you already have your logo ready to go...

Looks like they got their channel name right then

I thought you had, but couldn't find it. I just placed an AE order, so am giving PTM7950 a whirl (hopefully it's authentic-ish). Have you ever looked at graphene thermal pads like kryosheet? I briefly thought about it, but cost is higher and they're conductive.

I didn't lose data fortunately, and obv drives do fail (thanks backblaze). Determining the ssd was the culprit was fun, win10 would BSOD occasionally, and it took the BIOS hw utility 3 attempts to get a screenshot blaming the ssd. But as I'm not a datacenter, one failure is enough to turn me off.

I too don't trust Hynix after one of their 2TB SSDs failed on me last year. The ssd was less than two years old, and far far under the endurance rating, so they replaced it under warranty, but one HDD failure is enough for me!

Also, undervolting has become more popular on the PS3 if that's up your alley

Have you tried acetone in those squeeze bottles? I've had the metal nozzle fall out of the luer lock plastic encasement with anything I put acetone into.

FYI your bsky handle is broken, I think you need to remove the "/store" from the link, or redirect to main

Also, please let me ban shorts from search results
September 20, 2025 at 2:04 AM
I wish YouTube search would do this; it seems to prioritize recent content, even if the 15 year old video about wiring an outlet is "better". Many newer videos for static subjects feel like a money grab. And the classic issue of the more results you have to go through, the more money google makes.
