This also seems obvious to me, and looking at photos it's exactly what I'd expect it to look like if a wave was transcribed in miniature.

This is the essence of one of my critiques of the AI doomer argument.
Being able to think super hard about a problem is a necessary --but not sufficient -- condition for solving new problems. You still have to experiment along the way to map out the unknown unknowns.

This is why I like Costco gas pumps so much. They're intentionally built so that it doesn't matter which side your tank valve is, the hose will always reach!
