Today I was lucky enough to spend an hour of my time at work sharing my opinions on how the patriarchy continues to harm men and that the great work in gender equality has created a tug-o-war for the new definition of masculine idealism which creates an ongoing identity crisis for men.

I celebrated #nationalcomingoutday with my LGBTQ friends and allies yesterday and, as a cis straight man, I felt a so proud of the people who shared their coming out stories. I can’t help but think about the gender norms we are all subjected.
