What I don’t understand is, what the nation of Qatar has to gain from building a military base right out there in the middle of the Epstein Files

The existence of the filibuster implies that somewhere out there are such things as the kilibuster, the bifobuster, the bofubuster, and the bomburbuster.

In America today, a Black woman with a Harvard degree is a DEI hire, but a white man who dropped out of community college to get a talk show on Fox News is qualified to run a federal agency.

I believe:
Everyone in government should protect and defend the Constitution.
Everyone given the right to vote should be able to vote, and their vote should be counted.
All people deserve equal rights and equal treatment by the law.
Partisanship should never influence the justice system.

Sometimes I think that the most critical skill for people to have will be critical thinking. The internet is now a disinformation superhighway, and we will need to learn, and practice, carefully assessing every item we see.

It isn’t a thought that fills me with optimism, but here we are anyway.
