The world that made centrist liberalism possible, postwar prosperity, strong labor movements, Cold War unity, is gone.
Without rebuilding new foundations, no amount of messaging, civics lessons or return to normal campaigns will bring it back.

Right. Liberal democracy wasn’t built on “good ideas” alone. It stood on real things. Jobs you could raise a family on, unions that had teeth, and trust that institutions served the people.
