"Cymbeline" at Antaeus in Glendale is set in the old west. I love this play because Shakespeare threw everything into it but the kitchen sink. So much plot! It's the Costco version of Shakespeare. You get more play for your buck and it doesn't stop. Best moment: "Fear no more the heat o' the sun..."

Yes on 50 this November. Time to stop the Felon from rigging our mid-term election. Texas has already bent the knee and is gerrymandering democratic voters (the majority there, including BIPOC citizens) out of existence. California must take action to counter Texas's cheating ways.

It was a delicious book signing event tonight. My friend Sam has published a new biography of the actor Cesar Romero (mostly known to my generation as The Joker from all those Batman reruns). Sam's book is a real treat, and I can't wait to dive in to learn more about this Hollywood legend.

Wow! I had never read “Incident at Vichy,” so when it popped up on my Libby app I added it not knowing what to expect. This could not be more timely or relevant to life in America right now. Recommend. Someone please revive it.

Yesterday NPR ran a story on "surveillance pricing" by retailers. It's when companies secretly watch you online to determine how much you can afford to pay for something and then change their prices accordingly. This maximizes company profits and cheats customers of fair pricing.
