Even worse, "trump admin links..." presents it as a fact rather than even just a claim. CNN is claiming that the admin has in fact established that there is a link.

For sure. I feel that it's also been increasingly clear to me, at least since Travon, that for Shapiro, K*rk, etc questioning, or expecting justification for an act of violence committed by white person against a POC is itself viewed a racist affront to the rights of all whites.

It's so weird that they hardly even need to tell the lies anymore, you people will just imagine, out of thin air, whatever explanation masks sense to you for their actions and then just start believing it as fact. Nobody in the admin has even bothered to make any claims as to who was on the boat.

I am a Bernie supporter who begrudgingly voted Hillary, Biden, and Harris in spite of hating them. I can promise you right now I absolutely will never vote for Newsome, even if he is the nominee, even if he completely reversed his depraved positions on human rights starting today. It's too late.

I am so baffled by people like you (there seem to be many) who: 1. Do NOT support Newsome personally, 2. Feel very strongly that everyone must commit to vote for him if he is hypothetically the nominee several years from now and 3. Argue for this by threatening and insulting people who don't agree

Neither Newsome, nor any other candidate who is not clearly and with conviction supporting basic human rights (re: trans issues, Gaza, the death penalty) will ever be electable and shouldn't be. A failure to vote for the furthest left candidate in any primary is a vote for trump

There is proof of this in my work. We provide resources for art making to people with developmental disabilities who are able to make art full time because they receive a basic income. Programs like this consistently produce great artists in large numbers, many of which become quite successful

The root of right wing outrage about this kind of stuff is the false belief the appearance of "wokeness" in popular culture is the result of companies showing excessive concern for a small minority of weak people who are "offended" but somehow very influential.

This is the wrong take because: 1. The ad was bad and people were reasonable to be mad at it, but more importantly 2. Dismissing that fact gives credit to the right wing narrative that claims "woke" companies are being manipulated by "woke" elites and not actual public opinion.

I think it's likely part of the cover up. It's long been a rationalization on the right that Trump cut ties with Epstine and banned him from mar-a-lago because he realized he's bad guy. I think they'll release info that is specific to the Giuffre case such that it will support that narrative

Been worried about this since I saw people cheering the Twitter layoffs. Because it doesn't make sense... I thought the reason we were supposed to like rich people was because they were "job creators"? Only way to reconcile it: deciding that some people must deserve harm actually.

1 things need to get much worse in the short term to reach some mythical utopia later, and 2 getting there is gonna require identifying and eliminating a lot of the extra or undesirable people who are in the way - which is the core of right wing ethos.
