The fundamental difference is that you're still expected to be absolutely precise, but at a higher level of abstraction. The promise of AI is to allow you to be vague and have the computer fill in the blanks.

If we adopt Naur's point of view, the whole concept of automating the programming becomes as nonsensical as having someone else go take piano lessons or do your homework for you.
