They're already here having their labor exploited by a bunch of dickless assholes. Probably left a country under US sanctions. Their kids go to school with our kids. Sanctuary status keeps the whole community safe, and safeguards against further exploitation.

Believing what IDF says at face value without further investigation doesn't make you an IDF shill. It makes you their mark. "Critical support" for Palestinian's right to armed struggle against their oppressors is an explicit recognition that those movements aren't always perfect.

Not sure how it's supposed to work with affirming care, but her notion of it operating unlike any other field of medicine is a complete fiction. How many GP's could you go to and be like "I think I have ADHD" and walk out with a prescription? A lot of em.

I'm not going to pretend to know the right way to respond to the moral panic industrial complex. However, allowing them to exist within an insular vacuum without challenge has not worked. I welcome and admire your reporting on this issue. Great job Taylor!

A serviceman self-immolated himself in protest of genocide and your response is complete dismissal of the concerns and grievances of an entire movement. Besides, I'm really not sure what institutions could be doing the institutionalizing... unless your just speaking broadly about the "online-left".

Y'all sound like Fox News conspiracy hogs making broad determinations about entire movements based on the actions of one person. Another thing that tracks... placing blame on the movement's tactics for their failure, rather than the lack of government action in response to protest.
