Had a great time at #MHSRS with my colleagues at USARIEM presenting research on the impact of the Army's H2F program on metabolic health and interacting with so many researchers and practitioners.

Looking forward to building on this work evaluating H2F's impact on the Army

I'll be at the Military Health System Research Symposium (#MHSRS) this week presenting on how the Army's Health and Holistic Fitness Program (H2F) has helped improve Soldiers' metabolic health and how health economics can be used to evaluate Solider health and performance.

Very honored to have been selected as one of Old Dominion University's top 40 under 40.

I completed a BA in Economics with a minor in Applied Math in 2010, MBA in 2013 and a MA in Economics in 2013.

I can't be more grateful for my time at ODU and the preparation it gave me for a PhD and my career

As a society, how do we deal with this type of information gap if the reality some people are living in isn't the truth?

The true information is easily available from a quick Google search, yet we continue to survey after survey where there are results like this. (1/2)

2009 LeBron dropping an easy 44 on Kevin Durant and the Thunder.

LeBron being as good as he is at 40 makes you forget how fast and athletic he was in his prime.

There's a whole generation of hoop fans who never saw this version of him 👇🏼

Two useful charts for the conversation on government efficiency and employees:

1) The number of federal employees has remained relatively unchanged since 1970

2) The percent of the total workforce that are federal employees has been declining since 1960

Obviously this is not an easy task, but if AI is going to be a tool that students have as a resource in their careers, it's best to teach them how to use it and integrate it into their work, just like we do with Excel and statistical programs. (1/2)

There is a coming demographic cliff in higher education as the number of college aged students will decline after 2025.

This will have large implications on higher education, especially for colleges that have not prepared.

This will also impact Social Security and Medicare.

Nostalgia is a powerful drug. The past that people often think fondly of, never actually happened.

I want to say congratulations to my student Collin Ironside for presenting his Departmental Honors Research yesterday. He scraped data on politician's stock transactions and created an index to see if it outperformed the S&P 500 during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Awesome work!!
