I'm with you there. My bachelor's degree is in geology, and I finally found a way to marry my science passion with one of my visual art passions.

This one was fairly difficult to photograph because it is iridescent. I'm still working on a light angle that captures that characteristic, but it might not be achievable. In the meantime, I'll just enjoy this gorgeous lapis blue.
