Autonomous Driving is the future? I think not. The future is autonomous drones. Cars will go the way of the horse and buggy. Autonomous trucks will show up because shipping the weight is cheaper on the ground than in the air. But humans, if we're still around, will be transported in the air.
It's clear that "Defund the Police" back-fired as a political slogan and cause. What about "Disarm ICE". Let's defang them. Pull the guns, pull the chems, pull the abusive use of "non-lethal" weapons that blind protesters. Their only weapon should be a legit Judicial Warrant. No other.

FOX: Where’s the protest against the regime that's killing people in the street right now?

Trent: They are doing those today. It’s called the ICE protests

FOX: Are they talking about Iran at the ICE protests?

Trent: No, I think they are talking about the regime that is shooting people in the face

@pivotpod.bsky.social @profgalloway.com @karaswisher.bsky.social Scott and Kara, I'd love to hear what you think of these AI Datacenter SPV funding vehicles. Is getting that level of debt off your books good corporate governance? Doesn't seem like it.

@callofduty.com I hate playing against waves of zombies. I never do it in any of your games. Now, in COD 7 you force it on me in the campaign? That's bullshit. Shame on you for laziness.

Is it really a question @nytimes.com? Shove your stupid quant method up your editorial ass and read someone else's newspaper. It's not a question. We ARE losing our democracy and you are too little, too late, with too much cowardice to help stop it.

What if we changed city -> police contracts and made it so that the police union was liable for payouts like this, instead of the city. Would it drive change? Accountability? Because I'm not seeing any change now. Reforms are failing to reform behavior.

@karinejean-pierre.bsky.social Sorry the Politico article is such bullshit (not posting it here). It never would have been written about a guy. It's ok if you are ambitious. That is a positive character trait. You did a great job.

Re-watching the remake of Total Recall. The one with Colin Farrell. 2 questions? 1) Why is it always raining and dark in dystopian urban movies? 2) We have touch screens and smart refrigerators, why can’t I get the smart “message app” refrigerator featured in the movie?

I think @pkrugman.bsky.social is right, that this potentially is a Liz Truss moment for the US. But since we don't have a parlamentary system the assholes foisting it upon us will not be out of office soon. Our rot goes deeper than old lettuce.
