They may be past the point of no return, but try it in another player, some players may be able to decode it better. You may also be able to rip the DVD's using software like Handbrake.

Yeah, "less" might work, but they'll try every trick in the book to get you back...
If you're browsing from your desktop you could use something like uBlock Origin to block out their many attempts.
Or you could go nuclear and add a "hosts" file entry to block everything from their domain.
