Und dann diese Inkonsequenz. Gerade die CSU müsste eigentlich aufschreien, denn nach der Logik müsste auch alkoholfreies Bier verboten werden.

Yep - actually I prefer the northern parts. South was a bit too crowded in my pov. But in general: the island offers simply all. Crystal clear waters and beaches like in the caribean, freshwater swimming (good if travelling with a dog) and hiking in the mountains, beautiful landscapes, wine, food ..
